This could easily describe my child and me. I should buy stock in Oscar Mayer because the only thing I can guarantee my kid will eat is pizza lunchables. But I would imagine after 10 days she’d be bored with that too. And she spends all of lunch talking so to build and eat 3 of those in the short time seems nearly impossible. And I’m not paying $40+ dollars a month for her to throw school lunches out.

Our 5 year old is in a period of not eating anything that we pack. She always wants what she doesn’t have (life, right?) We let her get hot lunch 2 days a week and brings her lunch the other 3. She goes to the store with us and gets to pick out a few things for the upcoming week. Why are they such a puzzle when it comes to food?!

So again.. i related way too much. My Anthony doesn’t like fruit. He also asked for apples (green to be exact) and i too packed the apples every freaking day.. day after day.. the same Apple returned. I now pack a nacho lunchable for lunch and let him pick his 2 snacks for weekely at the grocery store Fu*k it I’m trying here! I feel your pain!

Sounds funny coming from the girl who “lost” her lunchbox under her bed which, months later, exploded loudly, due to the fact that grape juice eventually explodes when left alone in the dark, which we, being your parents, referred to as the under-the-bed Science Project for years!

I would have DIED if O had lunch with the principal. He’s a honey & peanut butter kid. Has to be in a heart shape. Everyday. I’ve used the same bag of carrots to “look” healthy since the first day of school. No joke.

He can pack it now! Show him a chart with the nutrients across the top and under each a list of what you have under that nutrient. He has to choose one from each list but he can choose any combination he wants.

I stopped packing lunches. The food was basically taking a field trip then thrown in my trash can. Or how about when they get on a kick like pb&j so you stock up only for them to no longer like pb&j.
